Recommended Cultivation Conditions:

Temperature: 20-25℃

Light intensity: 250-3000 lux white fluorescent lamp

Light-dark cycle: 12/12 hrs

pH: 7

 

Culture Establishment Instruction:

Prepare 1 ml fresh culture medium and transfer it into a sterile transparent tube with aeration cap. Use a sterile toothpick or inoculating loop to pick a single algal colony from the agar plate and inoculate it throughly into the medium. Place the tube in the incubator or environment with the recomended condition stated above. Swirl the culture tube daily to resuspend the sinked algal cells. The colour of the culture should turns green within 2 weeks.

*The colour of culture may turns red for prolonged culturing poeriod, exposed under high light intensity or high temperature.
